This animation is based on a pre-existing text piece. To bring the story "alive", I repurposed standard Kronos graphics and visualized an accrual balance "machine". The actors and machine then simply followed the action of the written story. Try this experiment: play this video through while closing your eyes. Then play it again with your eyes open. Which way gave you a better understanding of the topic?
This self-paced course was designed as the introductory component of a blended call-center software course; the second component being classroom instruction. To include as much preparatory content as possible, I combined interactive pop-ups, a Case Study, software simulations, and game like quizzes; all designed to give the student practice in using the software as it is used in the actual call-center. The story of Mrs. Jones brought it all together.
This is another example of superimposing abstract data on an actual device. This time though, the story of VAP groups is narrated to us as we watch the data and blades interact.
